We sat on the upper deck, overlooking a small marine inlet with dozens of nice boats..we arrived early at 11:30am on a sunny beautiful summer day. The service was prompt, friendly..fried seafood platter we shared was delicious..found a hidden gem..we'll be back...
The food was absolutely amazing!! I got the lobster roll and it was 10/10. The captain lucas was also very accommodating and kind, as was the rest of the staff! Would recommend, a great spot for the summer time!
My family and I love visiting Shanks. The staff is attentive, and the food is delicious. My go-to is the Summer Salad, and I add Scallops. My kids get the chicken fingers and fries, which is a nice size for 8! The views are incredible, and it's just a great little hidden gem. Highly recommend.
What a great find this is my second trip back! Had Lobster nachos and they were out of control good! First time I didn't realize they had a second story deck so I took advantage of that. Food was phenomenal service was outstanding in the view is gorgeous. Met the owner angie, super friendly and you can tell everyone loves working there and serving up great food and service. Just have to figure out what I'm going to get there next!
Awesome place! Just celebrated my birthday at Shanks and it couldn’t have been better. Ryan the chef and the entire team went out of their way to make it special—they even cooked up something off-menu just for me! Great food, great atmosphere, and genuinely great people. Can’t recommend it enough. Thanks again for making it a night to remember!
Have eaten here many times. Never disappoints. Great brussel sprout app, and some of the best calamari we’ve had. Anything with lobster is excellent and plentiful. Fish or shrimp tacos are also great. Quality and portion sizes of everything are excellent.
What a fun place to eat on the water while in Clinton. We ordered a nice variety of food to try a little bit of everything. The lobster nachos were the best thing we ordered!! All the food was very good and cooked great but I highly recommend the nachos! Shanks is located in a beautiful spot on the water where you can watch boats sail by! They have a great variety of seating, you can choose to sit on picnic tables right next to the water, or you can sit upstairs under umbrellas! They have clean bathrooms conveniently located downstairs. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend visiting this cute/delicious restaurant!
We had a lovely experience as we watched the sunset from the outdoor patio while eating their tasty lobster roll and fried belly clams! I wasn't a fan of their lobster bisque though, I've had better ones from other restaurants.
